ACRO Dev – Most Outstanding Group 2018

ACRO Dev – Most Outstanding Group 2018
Perri Lalor and Megan Evans
Coaches say “Megan and Perri formed a new group this year. They competed as a women’s pair and came out at the end of the season with excellent results, receiving a gold medal at the state pennant championships. The reason for their award is not to do with their results, although it shows how hard work pays off. At the beginning of the season, a new base to acro and a quiet, timid top, meant they would have to work very hard to achieve their goals. Perri has become tough and resilient this year and as coaches we can see that this skill does not come naturally to her. This strength has translated across to both her individual skills, group skills and beautiful confidence and flair on the floor. Megan, takes on feedback and has persists with her strength and drills until the skill is better than passable, but as close to perfect as it can be. Furthermore, these two have formed a great friendship and it has been a delight to watch them both not only work extremely hard, always turn up to training on time, but also have many laughs along the way. Congratulations to the girls, and as coaches, we can not wait to see what they achieve next year.”
